Inferring extirpation in historical habitat
Inferring extirpation in historical habitat
In historical habitat, the inputs to the first analysis stage which infers a per-cell posterior distribution for extirpation probability are just the gridded per-cell search effort and (Solow) prior extirpation probability.
In the following two pages we illustrate the inference process in historical habitat for the two focal taxa we’ve treated in previous sections, Primula pauciflora and Crassula connata.
